A conversation on leadership and emotions marks the end of the 2024–2025 academic year for UManresa’s senior students
The connection between leadership and emotions was the central theme of the dialogue between Valentí Martínez, Academic Director of the Chair in Values-Based Leadership, and Eva Bach, psychologist, writer, and expert in emotional education, during the closing ceremony of the 2024–2025 academic year of the USènior program. In their conversation, they shared reflections on the current leadership crisis, the generosity that every good leader must have to bring well-being to their environment, the importance of compassion and empathy to inspire and support others, and how to face hopelessness through emotions and leadership.
The event took place on July 8 in the auditorium of the FUB1 building at UManresa, with more than a hundred attendees, including students and faculty from the USènior program. The USènior program has a 13-year history on the Manresa campus of the University of Vic – Central University of Catalonia and currently has a community of over 450 students.
